To qualify for donation:

Owners must be in hardship and must follow the hospitals financial guidelines. It is the responsibility of management to confirm eligibility.

Pets: To be eligible for an Angel Fund grant, pets must:

A well-maintained relationship with an Alpine primary care veterinarian – i.e. there is a history of regular and routine care.

Pet must have a good prognosis (a high chance of successful outcome.)

Pet should be up to date on routine vaccinations.

If an adult pet, they should be spayed or neutered, or less than 6 months
- Owner must have exhausted all other efforts of payment, including, but not limited to: Credit cards, Care Credit, cash reserves, and friends/family.

Treatment: Covered care is only for non-elective medical and surgical procedures of sick or injured companion animals. Some procedures which do not qualify for funding include:

Routine physical examinations

Vaccinations
-
General prophylactic dental care
-
Spays and neuters
-
Caesarian sections
